Go Green Tree & Outdoor Services runs this site to explain what we do, to let you ask for an estimate, and to let you order firewood. This page says exactly what the site collects, where it goes, and what we do with it. It is short because the site does very little.
The short version
- The only information this site collects is what you enter into one of its two forms — the estimate form, or the firewood order form.
- When you submit the firewood order form, your order is sent to us straight away, the same way an estimate request is.
- This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We never have.
- You can call and ask what we hold, correct it, or tell us to delete it.
What the estimate form collects
When you submit the estimate form, we receive:
- Your name, phone number, and the property address where the work would happen. All three are required — the address because we cannot price tree work without seeing where it is, and the phone number because our follow-up is a text message.
- Which services you selected.
- Whether you or the owner will be there when we come out. It is a scheduling question.
- Your email address, if you give us one. It is optional — the form works without it. If you do fill it in, we use it to send you a copy of the written quote, it is stored alongside the rest of your answers, and it becomes the address our reply goes to.
- Anything you write in the notes box. Please keep it to the job. Do not put payment details, account numbers, or anything medical in there — the form is not built to hold that, and we do not need it to quote a tree.
The form does not ask for photographs, and there is nowhere on this site to upload one. There are no accounts on this site, nothing to log into, and no payments taken here.
The firewood order form
When you fill in the form on our firewood page and press the button, your order is sent to us over an encrypted connection, the same way an estimate request is. We have it from that moment.
We receive what you entered: your name, your phone number, the delivery address, which wood you picked, how many ricks, and where you want it stacked if you told us. The address is required because that is where the wood goes, and the phone number because that is how we confirm the delivery cost and a time with you.
It is recorded in the same spreadsheet as our estimate requests, on a separate tab, and we get a notification so we see it. If you text or call us instead, that reaches our business phone the way any customer’s text or call does.
If the page cannot confirm that your order arrived, it says so and shows you the order to read out or text to us.
Where it goes
Your estimate request or firewood order is sent over an encrypted connection to a private intake address of ours, which records it in a spreadsheet in a Google account of ours and sends us a notification so we see it. That is the whole path. It is read by the person who will quote your job or arrange your delivery, and the people who will do it.
We use Google for that spreadsheet and email, and a hosting provider to serve this site. The company that built this site and keeps it running can reach that spreadsheet and the account the notification comes from, because that is what keeps the forms working. They do not use your information for anything else.
Like every web host, ours keeps short-lived server logs that can include the IP address a request came from. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you and we do not connect them to your estimate request or firewood order.
Each form also carries one hidden field that real visitors never see. Automated spam tools fill in every field they find; people do not. It exists to sort submissions from bots and collects nothing about you.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a marketing company. If we are ever legally required to produce it, we will.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own, and it loads no analytics, advertising, session-recording, or social-media tracking scripts. Nothing here follows you to another site, and nothing that followed you here is read by us.
That is also why there is no cookie banner. A consent box that asks permission for something the site does not do is noise in front of the page, and we would rather tell you here. If that ever changes — if we add analytics, for instance — this page changes with it, and you would get the consent choice the law requires at that point.
How long we keep it
We keep your estimate request while we are quoting and doing the work, and afterwards as an ordinary business record of a job we did — the same reason any contractor keeps paperwork. Requests that never turn into work stay in our records unless you ask us to remove them.
We keep a firewood order while we arrange and make the delivery, and afterwards as an ordinary business record of the sale. Orders that never turn into a delivery stay in our records unless you ask us to remove them. A text you send us yourself sits in our phone’s message history with every other customer text.
If you would rather we did not keep yours, say so and we will remove it.
Your choices
Call us at (317) 695-6116 and you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. We will take care of it within 30 days, and usually the same week. We will not ask you to explain why, and asking will never affect what we charge you or whether we will work for you.
Indiana’s consumer data protection law took effect on January 1, 2026. It applies to businesses handling the personal data of at least 100,000 Indiana residents, or 25,000 if most of their revenue comes from selling that data. We are a local crew and nowhere near either threshold, so the statute does not cover us — but the rights above are what we will do anyway, and they are not conditional on a law requiring them.
Security
Your estimate request or firewood order travels to us encrypted, and the intake address it goes to is not published and requires a key we hold. The spreadsheet and email it lands in are protected by the controls on our Google account.
A text message between us is different, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. It travels over the phone network the way every text does, and that is not something we can secure.
We are not going to claim any of this makes it impossible for anything to go wrong, because no one can honestly claim that. It is why we ask you to keep what you send us to the job, and to call rather than type anything you would not want kept in writing.
Children
This site is for people hiring a tree service. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, call and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, this page changes, and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not keep one.
